THE ARCHIVES

BILL WALKER

Walker was born in 1938 in the desert of the American Southwest into bare means amongst fifth-generation pioneers, native Americans, and Mexican communities. He joined the Marine Corp in the 1950s to tour the Pacific and Asia, where he discovered Buddhism and Eastern philosophy.

Over the following 60 years, Walker spread his time and life between San Francisco, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and the Southwest desert.

His art is a personal meditation to transcend internal chaos, capture it, and render it harmoniously.
